Links

It would be very difficult to make a website successful on search engines without the help of links.  Links from other web sites to your website will assist you in being found by people searching on the internet.  The more relevant the link the better it will perform but don’t expect immediate results. 



Google for instance measures the links by relevance and the time they have been on the website, the longer the link the better, so even if you don’t see immediate results when you have added links they will become beneficial over time.

Link building takes time and in some cases money depending on what area you are attempting display on the search engines. A business that is high profile and competitive will be a lot harder to build than a business is not.  The reason for this is most companies with web sites in the area have created them to promote there business and even sell services and products online.  Once they appear on search engines under specific phrases then they can be very successful.
